Your patient portal allows you to:

  • book appointments

  • complete questionnaires

  • securely message the clinic

  • upload documents and laboratory results

  • access treatment plans

  • download resources

  • request repeat prescriptions from the Orchard Barn dispensary

  • make secure payments.

We strongly encourage patients to download the Practice Better mobile app for convenient access to their healthcare information.

Appointments
Appointments are available:

  • in person

  • by secure video consultation

  • by telephone where appropriate.

Appointment details will be sent through your Practice Better portal.
We find that most patients benefit from attending appointments independently. However, you are welcome to bring a family member, friend or carer if you feel this would be helpful.
Children under the age of 14 must attend with a parent or legal guardian.

Your Consultation
Your appointment includes considerably more than the consultation itself.
Your practitioner also spends time:

  • reviewing your medical history

  • reviewing questionnaires and medical records

  • interpreting laboratory results

  • researching complex cases where appropriate

  • preparing your personalised recommendations

  • writing your treatment plan

  • documenting your clinical notes.

This preparation and follow-up form an important part of the care you receive.

Communication Between Appointments
We are always happy to support our patients between appointments where appropriate.
Your consultation fee includes brief follow-up support to clarify your treatment plan or answer simple questions.
To enable us to provide timely support for all patients, we kindly ask that communication between appointments is limited to two brief enquiries.
Please allow up to ten working days for a response.
If your enquiry requires detailed clinical advice, relates to new symptoms or requires a review of your treatment plan, we may recommend:

  • a short telephone consultation

  • an email consultation

  • or a follow-up appointment

This ensures you receive the time and clinical attention your situation deserves.

Fees & Payments
Consultation fees are published on our website and are subject to periodic review.
Payments are processed securely through Practice Better using Stripe.
For some appointment types, you may choose either:

  • to pay in full at the time of booking; or

  • to pay a deposit to secure your appointment

Where a deposit option is available, the remaining balance will be automatically processed using your securely stored payment method, if you have consented, in accordance with our booking policy.
If you choose to save your payment method within Practice Better, your card details are securely stored by Stripe. Dr Sally's Clinic does not store your full payment card details.

Cancellation & Rescheduling
We understand that plans sometimes change.
If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, we kindly ask for at least five working days' notice.
Where this notice is provided:

  • deposits will be refunded where applicable

  • prepaid appointments may be transferred or refunded in accordance with your booking.

Appointments cancelled with less than five working days' notice may incur a charge of up to 50% of the consultation fee.
Appointments missed without prior notice may be charged in full.
These charges help cover the clinical preparation already undertaken and the appointment time that has been reserved exclusively for you.

Herbal Medicines, Homeopathic Remedies & Supplements
Following your consultation, your practitioner may recommend herbal medicines, homeopathic remedies or nutritional supplements as part of your personalised treatment plan.
These recommendations are entirely individual and are based on your health history, current medications and clinical assessment.
There is no obligation to purchase products from Dr Sally's Clinic. You are free to obtain recommended products from another reputable supplier if you wish.
Where herbal prescriptions or remedies are prepared by our dispensary, these are charged separately from consultation fees.
Preparation of personalised prescriptions may take several working days, particularly where specialist ingredients need to be ordered.
Repeat prescriptions can be requested through your Practice Better portal or by contacting the dispensary directly. Please allow up to seven working days for dispensing.

Functional Laboratory Testing
Your practitioner may recommend specialist laboratory testing where clinically appropriate.
Testing is entirely optional and will always be discussed with you beforehand, including the costs involved.
Laboratory fees are separate from consultation fees unless otherwise stated.
Results will be reviewed as part of your ongoing care and interpreted within the context of your individual health.

Working Together
We believe the best healthcare is built on partnership.
We ask our patients to:

  • provide accurate and up-to-date health information

  • inform us of any changes to medications or medical conditions

  • let us know if you are unable to attend

  • ask questions if anything is unclear

In return, we will:

  • treat you with kindness, dignity and respect

  • explain your options clearly
